Vacancy - Clerk to the School Standards Board
  • Job Title:   Clerk to the School Standards Board
  • Salary:   Grade D  SCP 5 - 6 (£18,795 - £19,171 pro-rata)  (Actual earnings £4,198 - £4,282)
  • Working hours per week/month/year:   10 hours per week term time only

Created in September 2014, the Castleman Academy Trust was formed to provide high quality education that is underpinned by the learning values of Respect, Independence, Creativity and Inclusion.  These values have been agreed across the founding MAT schools and are regularly reviewed to ensure that all we do reflects these.   We now have an exciting opportunity for a Clerk to the School Standards Board to join our team to work closely with the Governors and Governance Operations Director.   It is important to note that Clerks new to the role will have full on the job training and support from the Governance Operations Director in order to be able to carry out their duties. 

To name but a few, we are looking for someone who:

  • has a sound administrative background 
  • has strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • is highly organised and efficient
  • is Computer literate
  • is willing to undertake the National Training Programme for Clerks

  • Working hours per week/month/year     35 hours per week based on 39 working weeks (38 weeks Term Time plus 5 Insed Days)
